We are extending this invitation to international colleagues and would greatly appreciate your help in introducing this program to interested participants.

Located at No. 26 Yuancun Erheng Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, China, the Institute of Pelvic Floor Medicine and Coloproctology is a leading center for the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor and colorectal diseases. Our team includes 3 doctoral supervisors, 10 master's supervisors, and 11 senior surgeons. With 121 specialist beds, we are internationally recognized for our advanced treatment of complex anorectal and pelvic floor disorders. Each year, over 25% of our patients come from outside Guangdong Province and abroad, establishing our institution as a leading global center for the diagnosis and therapeutic management of complex and challenging cases such as rectovaginal fistulas, sacrococcygeal tumors, complex anal fistulas, and perineal injuries. To date, we have trained over 2,000 medical professionals in this specialized field. The details of the Institute of Pelvic Floor Medicine and Coloproctology are enclosed for your reference.

The International Training Program on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Complex Anorectal Fistulas will take place from April 21 to April 27, 2025, at the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. The program will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of complex anorectal fistulas, including rectovaginal fistulas and complex anal fistulas. The instructional format includes 4 key components: theoretical lectures, teaching rounds, live surgical demonstrations, and in-depth case discussions. We hope this training program will provide international colleagues with Chinese experiences in treating complex anorectal fistulas and promote international communication among colorectal surgeons. Please find attached the specific documents of the training program for your reference.

We assure participants that no registration or training fees will be charged. However, participants are responsible for their own accommodation and travel expenses. We will provide suggestions for travel and accommodation and can assist with booking flights and hotels.
